By horse, ride through pastures and plantations until its time to dismount at our destination. By car, be driven to the point where we all meet up. Get a feel for how people live – a simple, wholesome way of life, living off the land, their homes, how they get around. Keep in mind that electricity is very recent for them.Here we begin our hike through a breathtaking private park to experience the rainforest. There is a great variety of biodiversity. Look out for highland birds which are difficult to see elsewhere. We’ll be visiting the astonishing blue river Penjamos, many cascading watefalls and natural waterslides. You’ll also see first-hand where minerals leach through the river bottom and into the water, causing the water color to turn blue. There will be plenty opportunities to soak and swim.
